Inspired by French double-breasted coats from the 1930s, the silhouette has been adjusted to suit modern proportions. The pockets retain the era-specific V-pocket design from that period.

The fabric is a handwoven pure cotton, plant-dyed to achieve Professor.E’s signature deep grey. Due to the nature of hand-dyeing, each piece develops its own unique color.

For the buttons, we used a mixed selection of fabric buttons made from deadstock materials, hand-dyed coconut buttons, and our own custom-developed metal buttons, creating a richer sense of depth in the overall color palette.
